Won Conductor's Researcher Seungmin Kim Wins Slogan Award at the 2024 Venture Entrepreneurs Night
On December 10, the Korea Venture Business Association (Chairman Sang-Yeob Sung) hosted the “2024 Venture Entrepreneurs Night” at EL Tower in Yangjae-dong, Seoul, starting at 5 PM.
The event was held to celebrate the growth and contributions of Korea’s venture companies in 2024 and to recognize outstanding individuals and organizations with the “Venture of the Year” awards. It also served as a platform for fostering encouragement and unity among venture entrepreneurs.
This year’s winning slogan was “Venture, Carrying Forward the Original Spirit.” The phrase reflects on the passion and determination that have driven Korea's venture industry over the past three decades. It encourages a renewed commitment to the original entrepreneurial mindset, particularly during times of economic uncertainty, aiming for new leaps forward.
Seungmin Kim, a researcher at Won Conductor Co., Ltd., was honored with the Slogan Award. He explained,
“This slogan represents how the 30 years of challenges and achievements in the venture ecosystem have embedded innovation into the core values of organizations. It reflects a strong vision of continuous innovation and growth, refusing to remain complacent and striving to create a better future.”
Also in attendance was Sang-Hyun Ji, CEO of Won Conductor, who expressed his appreciation by saying,
“At a time when managing a venture business is more challenging than ever, I am truly pleased that one of our team members has received such a meaningful award. We will continue to support our employees so they can engage freely and creatively in their work.”
In his welcome remarks, Chairman Sang-Yeob Sung of the Korea Venture Business Association stated,
“Despite the difficulties faced in 2024, venture entrepreneurs have pressed forward with passion and pioneering spirit. I hope that by reconnecting with their original spirit and entrepreneurial mindset, all venture businesses will overcome today’s challenges and make great strides into the global market.”
