Won Conductor Joins ELECS KOREA 2025 to Showcase Power Equipment Innovations

Won Conductor Co., Ltd., a leading power equipment manufacturer in Korea, participated in ELECS KOREA 2025, held from February 12 to 14 at COEX, Seoul. The event was hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and jointly organized by the Korea Electrical Manufacturers Association (KOEMA), the Korea Smart Grid Association, and COEX.

Founded in 2000, Won Conductor is a globally recognized technology company aiming to realize CF & RE100 through ESG-based management. The company develops and manufactures a full range of ultra-high voltage (UHV) power equipment, including overhead and underground cable connectors, circuit breakers, switchgear, and customized components, demonstrating rapid responsiveness and technological differentiation.

Won Conductor supplies major domestic partners such as LS Cable & System, LS ELECTRIC, Hyundai Electric, and Taihan Cable, while also serving as the official Korean distributor for global companies including BAL SEAL Engineering (USA), SAFRAN’s I-Coreband (UK), as well as exclusive partners of Spain’s Plymouth Tape and Germany’s DRUSEIDT for silicone cable solutions.

[Global-Grade Components & Custom Assembly Solutions]

At this year’s exhibition, Won Conductor introduced spring seals and conductive bands from BAL SEAL and SAFRAN, used across industries such as energy, semiconductors, automotive, aerospace, medical, robotics, and defense. In the past, these components were supplied separately, requiring customers to source conductors and assemble them manually, resulting in inventory burdens and inefficiencies.

To address these challenges, Won Conductor now provides modularized custom assemblies, integrating high-current conductors, connectors, seals, and springs through precision design and manufacturing. These optimized multi-contact systems are delivered as preassembled units, enhancing customer convenience, reducing assembly time, and significantly lowering overall costs—resulting in high satisfaction and trust from clients.

[Domestic Launch of Industrial Safety Kiosk ‘T-OSK’ Featuring TSID Technology]

For the first time at a domestic exhibition, Won Conductor unveiled T-OSK, an industrial safety kiosk solution powered by TSID (Time Sync Identification) technology—designed specifically for prevention of serious industrial accidents.

TSID is an advanced real-time authentication technology based on non-fixed value algorithms, enabling complete security without passwords, OTPs, or security keys. It ensures identity verification with a single, secure interaction, enhancing safety while eliminating traditional vulnerabilities.

Unlike conventional kiosks that are vulnerable to device theft, skimming, and unstable network connections, T-OSK integrates multiple safety systems to address real-world security threats. It was developed in response to increasing industrial accidents, and is engineered to support full compliance with Korea’s Serious Accidents Punishment Act.

T-OSK digitally manages pre-entry safety training, health checks, PPE compliance, and work task verification. Using NFC and biometric sensors, it monitors workers' health indicators (such as body temperature, alcohol levels, blood pressure) in real time, enhancing both workplace safety and health awareness.

In addition, all site entry data is logged and verified by personal identity, and career history access is only permitted with the worker's consent, reinforcing personal data protection—a significant advancement for privacy in industrial settings.

“T-OSK is an essential safety solution for high-risk industries that manage large workforces such as power plants, construction sites, shipyards, and steel mills,” a Won Conductor representative explained.  “It enhances accident prevention, safety awareness, and workforce management all at once. We aim to uphold our core foundation in ultra-high voltage technology while continuing to innovate in new fields.”
